Recruitment Consultant - Engineering

 
Salary: Basic to £25k  d.o.e- £45K OTE (First Year)
 
Requirement: Experience of at least six months experience ideally in Engineering although other specialist recruitment sectors may be considered.
This is a vibrant, fast paced sector and our client is well established in the Market


Our client, a specialist Engineering Recruitment Consultancy, offers a Permanent & Contract service to clients throughout the UK. Due to continued expansion they now require an Engineering Recruitment Consultant that will maintain and develop existing business and use your skills and experience to grow your candidate and client base.

My client is based in Chester City Centre. They offer a fresh, personable and innovative approach and have built strong relationships with clients and candidates.

The Role: You will be providing a high quality service to a specialist sector and will require previous recuritment experience gained within a specialised environment or strong business to busines sales experience. You will be placing candidates up to senior and management level so professionalism and the ability to communicate at all levels is crucial 

  • New business development 
  • Placing candidates into permanent roles within the Engineering Market. 
  • Client and Candidate liaison 
  • Relationship building, client meetings, negotiations 
  • Ability to meet targets in a highly pressurised environment 
  • Interviewing, matching and sourcing high demand candidates 
  • Working to high standards and providing a superior service at all times

The Person:

You will have a proven track record in a targeted sales environment and be looking to move into a role where you can develop and provide a superior quality service tailored to your client's requirements. This will require the ability to source high level candidates, negoiate and liaise with senior contacts. 

  • Previous recruitment experience ideally gained within a similar market. 
  • Evidence of stable work record, career planning and the stamina to succeed in previous roles. 
  • Pro-active attitude
  • Common sense 
  • Hard worker with a strong work ethic 
  • Commerciality and a desire to learn about the market 
  • Ability to relationship-build with clients and candidates 
  • Proactive in researching/following up leads
